These plans comprise a number of areas regarding environmental quality, especially the treatment of solid and dangerous waste generated in school laboratories and hospitals.
An investment of $55 million was allocated to these projects, and they are being managed by PRONGECA.
According to a press release, these projects are also aimed at development, improvement and conservation of the environment, recycling of electronic waste as well as the purchase of rubbish dump machinery, thus providing a better quality of life for Venezuelans.
In order to achieve this objective, PRONGECA began a plan to supply regional laboratories with the equipment necessary for analyzing environmental quality thereby improving the management conditions of the Environmental Departments of each state.
Similarly, PRONGECA is creating national strategies to promote workshops aimed at the training of officials, who will spread information in communities.
