Venezuelans Explain Why They Support the Bolivarian Revolution

With the reelection of Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez looking likely after almost fourteen years in power, Venezuelanalysis.com set out to discover why the majority of the Venezuelan people support the Bolivarian Revolution and its leader, Hugo Chavez. Here are a selection of the responses we received, views which are very rarely reported in the world's mainstream media. Translations provided.

"The Bolivarian Socialist Front of Older Adults of Merida State supports the revolutionary process and president Hugo Rafael Chavez Frias because he is the only president who has known how to understand the priorities and needs of this vulnerable sector of the population, as older adults are, thereby allowing for their inclusion in social security.
