Workers and President Chavez agree on PDVSA-CVG alliance and on industrial development plans
On Monday 20 August President Hugo Chavez met with with over a thousand workers from the basic industry companies of Guayana in order to agree on a plan to develop a new axis of development based around the Orinoco river and for the workers and leaderes of PDVSA and the Venezuelan Corporation of Guayana to agree to work together on this. The development axis is one of several region based development areas that Chavez has identified in his proposed plan for 2013-2019.
The meeting was held in the Caruachi Hydroelectric Complex, where CVG workers usually hold their worker assemblies.
