U.S. Sanctions Block Medicine from Venezuela, Killing Thousands

Ordinary Venezuelans talk about how the sanctions have made it increasingly difficult to access life-saving medications.

US sanctions have taken a toll in Venezuelans' access to medicine, both by reducing the amount of foreign currency available for imports and by presenting hurdles for medicine-importing operations themselves. During his visit to Caracas, The Real News' Michael Fox reported on this issue.
