Caracas, Venezuela, September 16, 2006 (Prensa Latina) – To make the reality and values of the Venezuelan revolutionary process known, intellectuals from different parts of the world met in Caracas Thursday to present the Miranda International Center (CIM).

Interviewed by Prensa Latina, CIM director Luis Bonilla explained that the entity is to serve to organize critical thought in the world, supported by the country´s intellectuals in order to advance the participative democracy encouraged by the Bolivarian Revolution.

CIM includes nine research programs covering different matters of interest for the national and international community related to the Venezuelan process of changes, Bonilla confirmed.

The center counts on outstanding and internationally recognized researchers, such as Chilean Marta Harnecker, Brazilian Theotonio Dos Santos, Canadian Michael Lebowitz, and Spanish Juan Carlos Monedero, among others.

Such cooperation illustrates that not only Venezuela, with its economic power, may help other less favored peoples, but also that intellectuals from the entire world come to support the progress of the revolution, the official remarked.
